James Duffy (born 27 April 1959) is a Scottish football coach and former player, who was most recently the director of football at Scottish League Two club Clyde. During his playing career he played for Celtic, Greenock Morton, Dundee (three spells) and Partick Thistle. His managerial career has involved spells with Falkirk, Hibernian, Dundee (two spells – first as player-manager), Brechin City, Greenock Morton, Dumbarton and Ayr United. Duffy also had a brief director of football role at Hearts and an extensive coaching career including spells in English football.
