Jorg Steinebrunner is an former professional Football Player. As a youth and junior player , Steinebrunner represented Germany 21 times and held the Captaincy of the junior National Team. He was a member of the German U-16 team that achieved fourth place at the European Championship 1988 in Spain. Steinebrunner also played for SC Freiburg for 3 Years at both the Junior and Senior Level. In 1998, Steinebrunner moved abroad to Singapore where he signed for S-League team, Tanjong Pagar United. In the same year , Tanjong Pagar United won the Singapore and FA Cup for the first time in the Club's History. Steinebrunner continued his playing career at the same club for another 5 years, before deciding to move into coaching in 2004. Today , Steinebrunner has successfully obtained the AFC A - Licence. In his time as an player and Coach in Singapore , Steinebrunner has won every Trophy in Singapore Football . In 2008 , he was also nominated for the Mikasa Coach of the Year Award.
