Washington Sebastián Abreu Gallo (Spanish pronunciation: ; born 17 October 1976), nicknamed El Loco (The Madman), is a Uruguayan football manager and former footballer who played as a striker. He is the head coach of Mexican club Tijuana. Throughout a career spanning 26 years, Abreu represented 32 different clubs in 11 countries. He won league championships with San Lorenzo and River Plate in Argentina, and with Nacional in Uruguay. On the international stage, Abreu made 70 appearances for the national team. He represented Uruguay at the FIFA World Cup in 2002 and 2010, and at the Copa América in 1997, 2007 and 2011, becoming a champion in the latter.
