Walid Regragui (also spelled Hoalid or Oualid; Arabic: وليد الركراكي; born 23 September 1975) is a professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of the Morocco national team. As a player, he played as a right-back for the Morocco national team. As a coach, he made history at the international level when he led Morocco to the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, becoming the first national team from Africa and the Arab world to reach this stage. He then qualified Morocco for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
