| Diego Sebastián Laxalt Suárez (Spanish pronunciation: ; born 7 February 1993) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Russian Premier League club Dynamo Moscow and the Uruguay national team. For the most of his career, he played in the left-back position. He is a youth product of Defensor Sporting, having passed through the youth ranks in July 2012.
