This match created a big polemic because of the behaviour of the referee Gervasoni. A penalty was not given to Corradi for a sack by Cordoba. And in the final minutes, a very contested penalty was given to Inter because of a hand play. Couto, the parma s player smashed first with the head but the ball out of the goal trajectory took slightly his hand. The sanction was red card and penalty.
Inter scored the last goal at 90 with an other player out for a slight injury.
