FC CSKA 1948 filed a request to postpone its matches of matchdays 27 and 28 due to more than 10 players with COVID. On May 3, 2021, the BG League Federal Committee postponed only the first of the two matches, without giving an opinion on the second. On May 5, 2021, the BG League Federal Committee decided not to accept CSKA 1948 request to postpone further matches under their program, motivating its decision with the approved calendar of the BG Football Union Executive Committee for 2021, the condensed PPL program and the scheduled date for the final tournament for the Bulgarian Cup, based on the requirements of UEFA for the deadline for completion of the championships before the start of the European Football Championship and the upcoming commitments of the Bulgarian national team, as well as with respect to fair play and equality between clubs in forming the final standings.
On May 7, 2021, the Appeals Commission rejected without appeal CSKA 1948 objection against the decision of May 5. 4 hours before its scheduled match of the Matchday 28, FC CSKA 1948 informed BG Committee that they could not gather enough players to hold the match, so the Committee decided not to hold a match, and on May 9, 2021 awarded official loss with 0-3 to FC CSKA 1948.
On May 13, 2021, BG Committee revoked all its previous decisions on the case and set a new date for the matchday 28 match, based on a new application submitted on May 10 by FC CSKA 1948 and presented new circumstances confirmation from UEFA about the possibility for the sports-competitive year to be completed by June 1, 2021 and a new opinion from the Medical Commission of the BG Football Union regarding the quarantine of the 11 sick football players of the club. BG Committee clarifies that this time the decision was made in order to preserve fair play and equality between clubs in the formation of the final ranking in the Parva Liga.
