PSG took a temporary lead on Sunday despite falling behind at Valenciennes 2-0 after 11 minutes. The capital club regrouped and poured on the goals from there, eventually winning 4-3. Lille also stayed hot, getting a brace from Tulio de Melo in a 3-0 win over Caen. But Montpellier kept pace, picking up a fine 2-0 win at Rennes to remain three points to the good. Montpellier faces Lille this weekend. The battle for a Europa League spot heated up as well, with Bordeaux inserting itself into the conversation with a 4-2 win over Auxerre, its fourth straight win. Rennes leads Toulouse for fifth place on goal differential, with Les Girondins and Toulouse both just two points adrift.
