In case of equal points, final position on the table is defined by match wins and not
goal difference. Therefore, in the northern zone, Antofagasta finished first and
Union La Calera second. The same rule apply to the Primera A tournament.
Puerto Montt and Antofagasta began octagonal with a 3-point bonus for winning their
respective areas. Union La Calera and Temuco have 2 bonus for finishing second
while Iquique and Deportes Concepcion received 1 for being third.
Lota Schwager and Curico began this phase with no extra points.
