As with any formation with three at the back, the wingbacks are obvious weakness since they re supposed to both provide runs deep into the opposition territory and track back to provide side cover, a feat that s pretty hard. It is better against other narrow formation, and isn t as good against formations that can overload it s own wingbacks.
